Amazon Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager for Community Engagement within AWS InCommunities to lead regional initiatives for the America Central region, based in Chicago or Columbus, OH.

Qualifications

• 12+ years of professional or military experience.
• 10+ years of public policy, government relations, community relations, public affairs, corporate social responsibility, or equivalent experience.
• Previous experience supporting major infrastructure development projects.
• Experience engaging and presenting to senior executives (CXO level).
• Experience working with emerging technologies.

Responsabilités

• Lead strategy development and bespoke execution of Community Engagement expertise for major development projects.
• Led a team of community engagement managers in the region.
• Design and execute InCommunites signature events and programs; provide vision for sustainable community engagement initiatives across the region.
• Communicate the impact of InCommunities programs internally and externally; represent AWS Infrastructure publicly in meetings with stakeholders.
• Be the region’s Issues leader; address internal and external issues posing reputational risks.
• Support community assessment for new sites in the region and develop a community engagement plan to mitigate risks.
• Capture data to demonstrate impact on AWS Infrastructure, employees, and community.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, real estate, energy, water, sustainability, construction, legal, public policy, and PR.
• Be physically on-the-ground in locations and execute as needed.
