Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. in Seattle seeks a Sr. Manager, Solutions Architect to partner with customers, AWS Sales, and internal teams to craft scalable cloud architectures that address business problems and accelerate AWS adoption.

You will lead a high‑performing team, guide strategic initiatives, and drive revenue growth within the Insurance vertical of Financial Services. You will mentor architects, engage in deep architectural discussions, and publish technical guidance to scale knowledge

Qualifications

10+ years of management of technical, enterprise customer facing resources.
7+ years of infrastructure architecture, database architecture and networking experience.
5+ years of design/implementation/operations/consulting with distributed applications experience.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field of study or 12+ years of related work experience

Responsibilities

Serve as a leader for the SA team and a key member of the technical account team.
Hire, enable, and develop an industry-leading team of solutions architects.
Build deep relationships with customers to become a trusted advisor for workloads.
Support achievement of revenue objectives through adoption and migration to AWS.
Educate customers on AWS value and participate in deep architectural discussions.
Contribute to internal and customer-facing publications for scaling knowledge.
Act as a liaison between customers, service engineering, and support.
