The ideal candidate has a STEM degree with 7+ years of experience and 5+ years leading an engineering team, with strong communication and program management skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in STEM with 7+ years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with 5+ years.
• 5+ years leading an engineering team.
• Experience advancing new product and process capabilities from concept to implementation.
• Excellent communication and cross-functional influence.
• U.S. Citizenship required.

Responsibilities

• Model standards of compliance, safety, ethics, and operational excellence.
• Shape product/process development based on stakeholder input.
• Establish milestones and ensure disciplined execution, validation, and documentation.
• Define roadmap for product/process capability to meet market needs.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing technical team with succession planning.
• Foster accountability, innovation, collaboration across teams.
• Lead high-complexity engineering challenges in tribological and high-temperature composite systems.
• Balance development speed with robust, scalable processes.
