Illumina, Inc. is seeking a Sr. Manager, Bioinformatics to lead a team supporting the Clinical Genomics portfolio, including oncology and reproductive health.

You will oversee analytics development, regulatory submissions, and product commercialization while partnering with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality bioinformatics solutions. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field
• 12+ years of related bioinformatics experience
• 3–6 years of management experience
• Experience with regulated products (IVD, CDx, FDA)
• Strong NGS and genomics data analysis
• Experience deploying genomics solutions to customers
• Proficiency with Python, R, Linux environments

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and develop bioinformatics scientists.
• Oversee activities supporting Clinical Genomics product development, commercialization, and lifecycle management.
• Oversee development, validation, and deployment of analytical methods and bioinformatics workflows.
• Collaborate across R&D, Software Engineering, Biostatistics, Regulatory, Quality, Product Management, and Commercial teams.
• Partner with customers, commercial teams, and external collaborators to support product adoption and feedback.
• Drive evaluation and adoption of new analytical approaches and scalable bioinformatics solutions.
