Job summary

AAON and BASX are seeking a Sr. Manager, Programming to lead the programming and process optimization for automated manufacturing operations.

You will drive continuous improvement in automation, productivity, material utilization, and quality, while developing a high-performing technical team across engineering, production, maintenance, and IT. The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field plus 8+ years in manufacturing programming with 3+ years in leadership.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of manufacturing programming, automated production systems, and fabrication processes.
• Strong understanding of process optimization, workflow analysis, production efficiency, and material utilization practices.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies, lean manufacturing principles, and quality systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to develop, motivate, and manage technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing programs supporting automated production equipment and fabrication processes.
• Establish programming standards, procedures, and best practices to ensure quality, consistency, and operational efficiency.
• Partner with engineering, production, maintenance, quality, and information systems teams to support manufacturability, process improvements, and new product introductions.
