Job summary

AAON in Parkville, Missouri, is seeking a Sr. Manager, Programming to lead programming and process optimization for automated manufacturing operations.

You will drive continuous improvement, ensure programs and fabrication processes align with specs, and mentor a high-performing technical team. Collaborate with engineering, production, maintenance, and IT to support new product introductions and manufacturing objectives, optimize throughput, and manage budgets and timelines.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in manufacturing programming, fabrication or operations, incl. 3+ years of leadership.
• Lean, Six Sigma or CI certifications preferred.
• Experience with automated fabrication and high-volume environments preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development, implementation, and maintenance of manufacturing programs for automated production equipment.
• Establish standards and best practices to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering, production, maintenance, QA and IT to support manufacturability and new product launches.
• Monitor performance to improve throughput, cycle times, material utilization and quality.
• Provide technical leadership for troubleshooting and programming issues.
• Coordinate resources and priorities to align with schedules and customer needs.
• Maintain documentation, work instructions, and revision controls.
• Drive continuous improvement in automation, waste reduction, and operational excellence.
• Manage budgets, staffing, and project timelines; supervise direct reports.
