Job summary

SENKO Advanced Components in Hudson, MA, is seeking an Application Engineering Manager to lead the Applications Engineering function and bridge between customers, Product Management, Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality, and Sales.

You will guide technical direction for fiber optic connectivity solutions across data centers and telecom, shaping product strategies and accelerating adoption through strong leadership and collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering required.
• 7+ years of experience in fiber optic connectivity or related fields.
• 3+ years of leadership or project leadership experience.
• Willingness to travel up to 40% domestically and internationally.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Applications Engineering team, setting priorities and objectives.
• Serve as technical authority for fiber optic connectivity solutions and guide customers and internal teams.
• Act as escalation point for complex customer issues, driving timely resolution with cross-functional partners.
• Develop relationships with customers and stakeholders and identify market trends via Voice of the Customer.
• Lead technical aspects of NPD/NPI and support product launches with Product Management and Manufacturing.
