Job summary

EY Consulting seeks an Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI) Program Management Senior Manager to plan and deliver large AMI transformations in North America. You will lead complex pursuits, shape delivery across PMO, organizational change, and field deployment, and build trusted executive relationships.

You’ll guide multi-workstream teams, drive quality and governance, and contribute to strategic opportunities for EY in the energy sector.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Information Systems, Business or a related field.
• Approximately 10+ years of direct AMI program management experience.
• Experience leading large North American AMI deployments across planning, mobilization, delivery and operationalization.
• Professional services or consulting experience delivering client engagements under formal commercial constructs.
• Approximately three+ years of consulting experience with client service delivery and stakeholder management.
• Experience leveraging AI-enabled tools and emerging technologies to enhance delivery and client outcomes.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, lead meetings, and translate business needs into action plans.
• Experience engaging senior utility stakeholders within complex governance environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead AMI program management pursuits and delivery engagements across planning, mobilization, and execution.
• Build trusted relationships with senior utility stakeholders and represent the practice in governance forums.
• Guide AMI program delivery across requirements, deployment, testing, and operationalization.
• Stand up and operate integrated PMOs with governance, RAID, and reporting.
• Manage multi-workstream teams, staffing, and delivery economics including change orders.
• Develop AMI delivery methods and reusable assets while coaching leaders and maintaining delivery momentum.
