Amazon.com Services LLC’s Prime Video team seeks a Senior Manager, Applied Scientist to lead cutting-edge AI across personalization, discovery, and recommendations. You will guide ML system design, influence product roadmaps, and mentor scientists while delivering scalable, impactful AI solutions for millions of customers.

The role combines deep technical leadership with strategic thinking, driving innovation from research to production in a fast-paced streaming environment.

Qualifications

• PhD (or Master’s with 10+ years of applied experience) in ML, CS, statistics, or a related field.
• 8+ years designing, building, and deploying ML models for real-world business applications at scale.
• Proven leadership in driving cross-functional ML/AI initiatives from ideation through production.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or C++, and ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
• Deep expertise in recommendation systems, search relevance, or large-scale personalization systems.

Responsabilités

• Lead optimization of the complete customer experience across discovery journey with ML/AI solutions.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to balance customer delight and business outcomes.
• Mentor scientists and influence product and engineering roadmaps across PVPD.
• Drive end-to-end research to production deployment and scalable AI innovations.
