Job summary

Lumen seeks a seasoned software leader to drive the Digital Customer Experience Platform Group, ensuring 24/7 availability across web, iOS and Android apps, APIs, and customer journeys. You will align product owners, engineers, and QA to deliver high-quality, scalable software in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include mentoring teams, shaping architecture, and championing automated testing and deployment, while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders and driving innovation

Qualifications

• 10+ years full lifecycle software development experience.
• 2+ years management experience of large enterprise products.
• 5+ years design and development in Java, JavaScript, Node.js, and related technologies.
• 3+ years mobile app development (iOS and Android).
• Experience with Cloud Infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).

Responsibilities

• Participate in planning, demo and retrospective sessions as member of Agile Scrum team.
• Manage development activities to deliver best in class experience.
• Manage key architecture components that are reusable, scalable, and extensible.
• Identify and design key moments during complex customer journeys across major services.
• Mentor team members in Agile process, review designs and code, oversee integration and deployment.
• Serve as point of contact per product owners' requests within the org.
• Create development environment for efficient testing and integration with CI/CD.
