Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager, PhareOS Implementation to lead client installations of PhareOS, R1’s AI-native revenue cycle platform.

You will guide health systems from scoping through go-live and manage multiple implementations, coordinating with product, engineering and data teams. The role demands 7+ years of multi-workstream healthcare tech implementation experience, strong executive communication, and the ability to own delivery decisions without performing hands-on coding.

Qualifications

• 7+ years leading multi-workstream healthcare technology implementations involving complex data integrations and change management.
• Experience managing executive-level relationships within health systems.
• Experience with healthcare data and/or revenue cycle workflows.
• Technical depth to oversee complex data integrations without hands-on work.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred PMP or similar project management certification.
• Preferred: HL7v2, FHIR and other healthcare data types.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple PhareOS implementations from kickoff to go-live with cross-functional activities.
• Own relationships with client IT leadership and align internal teams.
• Represent R1 professionally to client executives and staff.
• Run project meetings, define ownership and escalation paths.
• Oversee data onboarding and timely data landing with delivery teams.
• Identify risks early and mobilize resources to address them.
• Coordinate product, engineering, operations for go-lives and learnings.
• Shape deployment best practices and codify a repeatable playbook.
• Balance client-facing work with internal coordination.
