Job summary

Nielsen is seeking a proactive Senior Manager within the Product Security organization to drive and expand cloud and application security initiatives. You will lead a group of engineers, transition to a modern, automated AI-driven DevSecOps model, and define security policies with cross-functional collaboration.

You will provide subject matter guidance, manage performance, and align priorities with organizational goals, while navigating operational challenges and advancing secure AI-assisted

Qualifications

• 5-8 years in Application Security or Cloud Engineering, with leadership experience.
• Experience designing AWS security governance and automated incident mitigation.
• Solid background in CI/CD orchestration and container security.
• Familiarity with SAST/DAST/SCA in developer workflows.
• Experience with AI-enabled security approaches (LLM-driven remediation).

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor the Application Security engineering team.
• Drive autonomous, AI-driven DevSecOps strategy and guardrails.
• Collaborate with Platform Engineering to define cloud security baselines.
• Oversee security testing and ensure remediation within SLAs.
• Establish observability and regulatory standards across the lifecycle.
