Job summary

NVIDIA's Vulnerability Operations organization is seeking a Security Software Engineer to operate and improve our AI-powered vulnerability operations platform. You will work on two AI scanning engines, shipping fixes and driving data trust across numerous repositories and live web apps.

You will develop Python backend services, React/TypeScript frontends, and Postgres data models while participating in GitOps deployments (Kubernetes/OpenShift, ArgoCD, Vault).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 1-3 years of software engineering experience (internships count), with solid Python fundamentals.
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Comfort in a Linux/Git environment and a willingness to debug across unfamiliar systems.
• Interest in security - you don't need to be a security expert yet, but you should want to become one.

Responsibilities

• Operate and improve the vulnerability operations platform and pipelines.
• Develop Python backend, React/TypeScript frontend features, and Postgres models.
• Triaging platform feedback, reproducing bugs, and data reconciliations in SQL.
• Manage GitOps deployment (Kubernetes/OpenShift, ArgoCD, Vault) and secret rotation.
• Improve scan coverage and data quality across GitLab/GitHub/Gerrit/Perforce.
