Job summary

Bain & Company in Boston, MA, seeks a Senior Manager for the Technology Solutions Group to define product strategy for internal builder platforms, including cloud infrastructure and AI tooling. You will lead cross-functional teams across Platform Infrastructure, Architecture CoE, CyberOps, and engineering to deliver scalable, secure, self-service capabilities.

Responsibilities include shaping the product roadmap, governance, and mentoring a high-performing team of product managers and analysts,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.
• 8–10+ years of product management, platform engineering, or technology consulting.
• Experience with SDLC and collaborating with engineering teams.
• Experience with cloud platforms and Infrastructure-as-Code (Terraform/Env0).
• Experience with AI developer tooling, including LLM APIs and agented workflows.

Responsibilities

• Define product vision, strategy, and metrics for builder platforms (cloud & AI tooling).
• Collaborate with Platform Infrastructure to align capacity with engineering demand.
• Engage engineering communities to identify friction points and prioritize improvements.
• Lead governance for product intake, prioritization, and roadmap decisions.
• Deliver scalable, self-service infrastructure and AI development capabilities.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing product management team.
• Lead agile execution across multiple concurrent initiatives.
• Stay current with emerging AI developer tooling and modern software practices.
