Job summary

Bain & Company is seeking a Senior Manager in its Technology Solutions Group (TSG) to define product strategy for internal builder platforms, including cloud infrastructure and AI tooling. You will collaborate with Platform Infrastructure, Architecture CoE, and CyberOps to enable secure, scalable developer experiences across Bain’s engineering teams.

You will lead governance, engage with stakeholders, and mentor PMs while driving adoption and cost efficiency.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• 8–10+ years in product management, platform engineering, or technology consulting.
• Experience with engineering lifecycles and delivering enterprise platform products.
• Experience supporting developer platforms and cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms and infrastructure-as-code tools.
• Familiarity with AI tooling, LLM APIs, and agentic workflows.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead cross-functional initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Define product strategy, roadmaps, and success metrics for builder platforms (cloud and AI tooling).
• Partner with Platform Infrastructure to align delivery capacity with engineering demand.
• Engage engineering communities to identify friction points and prioritize enhancements.
• Translate infra and AI strategy into clear product priorities balancing speed, scalability, governance, and cost.
• Lead governance forums for product intake and roadmap decisions.
• Communicate strategy, progress, and performance insights to senior leadership.
• Embed secure development practices with Architecture CoE and CyberOps.
• Own and prioritize product backlog across cloud and AI tooling capabilities.
• Deliver scalable, secure self-service infrastructure and AI development capabilities.
• Measure adoption, platform performance, and cost for continuous improvement.
• Lead agile execution across multiple initiatives.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing PM/analyst team.
• Stay current with emerging AI developer tooling and modern software practices.
