Job summary

Workday, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager of Agent Trust & Security to lead an engineering team building the security foundations of Workday’s agent registry. You will identify, authenticate, and authorize agents, integrate with the security model, and verify what is running for customers.

You will review designs, code, and leverage AI code generation daily, bringing product judgment to security features and aligning with product management for roadmap decisions.

Qualifications

• Five or more years leading and shipping production services.
• Hands-on experience with authentication, authorization, identity or security platforms.
• Experience using AI code generation tools in a team setting.

Responsibilities

• Lead, hire and grow a team of software engineers and set a high bar for security engineering.
• Shape agent identity, authentication and authorization across the registry.
• Collaborate with Agent Passport team on credentials and verification for trust.
• Provide product judgment in security/identity features with product management.
• Partner with cross‑team security and ensure consistent security across the platform.
• Make AI code generation central to development and measure impact on speed/quality.
• Translate direction into written plans with milestones and raise risks early.
