Job summary

Workday, Inc. is seeking a Senior Manager or Director of AI Agent Engineering to lead the development of AI agents for HR and Finance.

You will mentor a high-performing team, drive technical excellence, and ensure scalable, secure AI solutions that integrate with the Workday ecosystem to deliver outstanding customer experiences. You will work with product managers, data scientists, and engineers to translate business needs into robust AI architectures, while upholding data privacy and compliance

Qualifications

5+ years of experience in software engineering leadership with a focus on AI/ML and cloud-based systems.
5+ years of experience with design and development for mission critical systems at scale.
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
Proven ability to hire top performers to build AI-powered products.
Deep understanding of LLMs, AI agents, RAG, and orchestration frameworks.

Responsibilities
