Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master’s or relevant certification preferred.
• 5–8 years in public affairs, government relations, communications, content development, or related field.
• Experience with policymakers, trade associations, or advocacy groups.
• Exceptional writing, editing, and presentation skills.
• Strong understanding of pharmacy or healthcare policy topics.

Responsibilities

• Develops and produces advocacy materials supporting ASHP's priorities.
• Creates advocacy content: infographics, fact sheets, briefing materials, talking points, podcasts, webinars, videos, digital resources.
• Translates policy issues into clear, audience-centric materials.
• Manages planning and coordination of webinars, podcasts, virtual events, and other content initiatives.
• Identifies opportunities for new content formats and resources.
• Coordinates development of multimedia advocacy resources for education and policy objectives.
• Supports rapid-response advocacy by timely content creation.
• Maintains advocacy content resources, templates, and toolkits.
• Monitors policy developments to identify content opportunities.
• Creates action alerts and related advocacy resources.
• Tracks performance and impact of content with marketing team.
