Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, English or related field.
• Three years of communications experience in complex settings; health care/policy/nonprofit experience a plus.
• Strong project management abilities and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Strong writing and editing skills to boil down complex issues into clear messaging.
• Proficiency with MS Office and social media/digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Drive consistent coverage of ACHP and its initiatives with media relations.
• Develop press releases, statements, op-eds, and talking points.
• Create advocacy collateral, newsletters, infographics and annual report.
• Manage external speaking engagements and maintain policy influencer contacts.
• Develop member communications and event marketing campaigns.
• Support speeches and presentations for leadership.
