Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Political Science, Public Policy, or equivalent work experience.
• Extensive experience in public relations and corporate communications.
• Experience with earned media strategy and policy campaigns.
• Ability to translate complex public policy research and positions into clear communications.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements enterprise-wide communications strategies for Heart Association policy statements and campaigns.
• Manages advocacy content on heart.org and digital hubs; aligns with Grassroots teams.
• Provides strategic counsel to state- and regional Marketing Communications staff.
• Leads messaging and tactics for priority public policy campaigns across channels.
• Create audience-centered materials and resources to support campaign implementation.
