Job summary

EVgo seeks a Manager, Accounting to lead multiple accounting teams through the full close cycle with strong technical accounting oversight. You will partner across functions and ensure audit readiness, SOX compliance, and process improvements in a fast-growing public company environment.

The role requires extensive accounting experience, CPA is preferred, and Big 4 coordination experience is a plus. Expect collaboration with Controller, FP&A, tax, and legal teams, and opportunities to drive

Qualifications

• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years managing managers or multiple accounting teams.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field; CPA preferred; MBA a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead multi-team close activities with technical accounting oversight across managed groups.
• Escalation point for accounting questions; research complex transactions and recommend positions.
• Oversee SOX documentation, testing, and external auditor coordination.
• Drive close process improvements, automation, standardization, and data quality improvements.
• Partner with Controller, FP&A, tax, legal, and operations on significant transactions and system initiatives.
