Job summary

EVgo, a nationwide fast charging leader, seeks a Manager, Accounting to oversee multiple teams and lead the full general ledger close with strong technical accounting leadership. You will ensure quality, control discipline, and process rigor across the accounting function, partnering with the Controller.

You will coach managers, align priorities, drive cross‑functional improvements, and coordinate with FP&A, Tax, Legal, and Operations on significant transactions.

Qualifications

• Typically 8+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years managing managers or multiple teams.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance; CPA preferred; public company background advantageous.
• Experience coordinating Big 4 audits and leading system implementation projects.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical oversight of close activities across managed teams and journal entries.
• Escalate accounting questions; research complex transactions and prepare positions.
• Ensure close deliverables meet quality, accuracy, and timeliness standards.
• Oversee SOX documentation, testing, and external auditor interactions.
• Lead cross-functional process improvements and ERP enhancement initiatives.
