Job summary

The Veterans Benefits Administration is seeking a Supervisory Management Analyst in the Office of the Director, Pacific District Office in Phoenix, AZ. The incumbent advises the District Director on improving VBA field office operations to enhance the delivery of veterans benefits and services.

Eligible applicants must meet the time-in-grade and qualification requirements by the closing date, and be prepared to supervise staff and lead cross-functional process improvement initiatives within VA.

Qualifications

• GS-14 grade level: specialized experience in planning and conducting complex organizational studies to evaluate and measure effectiveness and efficiency of operations.
• Polished and effective communication skills to present findings to upper management.
• Experience supervising subordinates/teams and leading projects; knowledge of continuous process improvement within VA.

Responsibilities

• Serves as a consultant to the District Director on issues related to the effectiveness and efficiency of VBA field office operations as they relate to the delivery of benefits and services to Veterans.
