Memorial Medical Center is seeking a Lead Mammography Technologist to lead the imaging team in the radiology department at our Las Cruces, NM campus. This full-time role focuses on accurate technologist performance, high-quality imaging studies, and effective documentation of procedures.

The ideal candidate will have ARRT Mammography certification, NM mammography licensure, an accredited radiologic sciences degree, and BLS certification, with a track record of leadership and staff development in

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences.
• ARRT mammography certification is required.
• BLS certification required.
• New Mexico mammography license required.

Responsibilities

• Performs mammography studies accurately based on assignment and competency.
• Evaluates studies for technical quality and records results.
• Maintains documentation and procedure records.
• Recommends performance evaluations for imaging services staff.
• Participates in performance improvement initiatives and staff counseling.
• Assists with recruitment and onboarding for vacant positions.
• Manages procurement and storage of imaging supplies.
• Fosters a professional growth environment.
