Job summary

Memorial Hospital is seeking a Lead Mammography Technologist to oversee daily mammography operations, coordinate staff schedules, and drive quality improvements. The role includes training, mentoring, and serving as a resource for staff, students, and providers.

The incumbent will perform advanced diagnostic mammography exams to aid diagnostic decisions. Required are ARRT(M) and state licensure in Radiologic Technology, a minimum of 3 years in mammography, and BLS certification (or obtained

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology program required.
Current state license in Radiologic Technology required; ARRT certification required, and ARRT (M) certification in Mammography required.
Advanced Breast Patient Navigator certification through BSCN preferred.
BLS Certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in Mammography required.

Responsibilities

Oversees daily operations of the mammography service.
Coordinates schedules and implements quality improvement initiatives.
Provides training and mentoring; serves as a resource to staff and students.
Performs complex diagnostic mammography imaging to support diagnosis and treatment.
