Job summary

Memorial Medical Center, part of Lifepoint Health, in Las Cruces, NM, seeks a Lead MRI Technologist to join a mission-driven imaging team. You will oversee imaging quality, staff activities, and workflow to support excellent patient care across the Lifepoint network.

The role requires an associate or bachelor’s degree in radiologic sciences, ARRT MRI certification, NM licensure, BLS, and 3–5 years of MRI experience. This is a full‑time on‑site position.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in radiologic sciences is required.
• ARRT MRI registration and NM licensure required.
• BSL (BLS) certification required at hire.

Responsibilities

• Review patient history and orders; educate patients on procedures and equipment.
• Prepare and administer contrast media; monitor patient condition.
• Prepare equipment, select exposure factors, position patients, and perform imaging.
• Analyze results and resolve image quality issues; enter and report scan results.
• Help manage department by scheduling staff and coordinating with supervisors.
• Educate staff on MRI safety.
