Job summary

Bon Secours Mercy Health in Springfield, OH seeks a Lead Mammography Technologist to manage day-to-day Mammography department operations and ensure MQSA compliance. You will supervise technologists, coordinate services, and uphold high standards of patient care.

You will oversee accreditation, maintain equipment, and educate staff while delivering exceptional customer service to patients and colleagues within a collaborative imaging team.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience as a registered mammography technologist (required)
• Two years' experience as a lead radiologic technologist (preferred)
• ARRT certification in Diagnostic Radiology (required)
• Advanced mammography modality registration (required)
• State licensure (preferred)
• BLS per hire requirements at locations

Responsibilities

• Coordinates all operations related to mammography services (scheduling, safety, patient care, equipment maintenance)
• Safely performs mammographic procedures and imaging
• Oversees MQSA inspections, ACR accreditation, QC program, Physicist surveys, equipment maintenance, technologist education
• Maintains staffing levels to meet workflow and attendance targets
• Supervises Mammography Technologists and students
• Coordinates breast health care components (BSE instruction, patient education, grants and payment assistance)
• Provides excellent customer service for internal and external customers
