Job summary

Greystar is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform technical and mechanical work ensuring buildings meet company standards for cleanliness, safety and function. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, complete the make-ready process for vacant units, manage inventory, and document service requests.

Role requires EPA refrigerant certifications, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift up to 50 pounds with assistance, and willingness to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends,

Qualifications

• EPA certifications Type 1 and II or Universal for refrigerant recycling are required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains buildings, grounds, amenities, and common areas to meet cleanliness, safety, and functionality standards.
• Completes work orders and preventative maintenance by diagnosing defects and performing repairs.
• Follows procedures to access materials, tracks inventory, and notifies supervisor about re-ordering needs.
• Completes documentation and paperwork for service requests to ensure accurate tracking.
• Maintains grounds by cleaning, painting, and ensuring equipment is properly used and maintained.
