Food For The Poor in Florida seeks a Sr Philanthropy Advisor in Major Gifts to cultivate, solicit, and steward high-capacity donors across Latin America and the Caribbean. You will manage a portfolio of major and principal gifts and align donor interests with high-impact funding opportunities that advance relief and sustainable development.

The role demands strong relationship building, strategic donor engagement, and collaboration with programs, marketing, and partnerships.

Qualifications

CFRE or CAP designation preferred.
Minimum 10 years in major and principal gifts fundraising.
Proven ability to close five-, six- and seven-figure gifts.
Experience managing donor portfolios and building long-term relationships.

Responsibilities

Cultivate, solicit, and steward a portfolio of major and principal gift donors.
Develop individualized engagement strategies to deepen donor relationships.
Lead all donor lifecycle stages: identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation, stewardship.
Deliver donor experiences reflecting the organization’s mission and values.
Collaborate with Marketing, International Programs and other teams on donor strategies.
Travel domestically and internationally to engage donors and observe programs.
