Job summary

Fortinet seeks a Major SLED Account Manager to drive enterprise security deployments for government and education accounts in the Los Angeles area. You will lead pitches, nurture relationships, and push Fortinet solutions from interest to full deployment.

You will on-board new clients, grow existing accounts, build a robust pipeline, and coordinate bids and RFP responses while traveling within the territory. 8+ years in major account sales and top-tier communication are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in selling enterprise network security solutions and services to large and complex organizations.
• Ability to move deals through the sales cycle, with a proven record of closing large deals and exceeding targets.
• Strong presentation, influencing, and cultural fluency skills for executive audiences.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• 8+ years of experience selling to Major Enterprise Accounts.
• 2+ years of experience selling enterprise network security products and services.

Responsibilities

• Play an integral role in new business pitches, foster long-term relationships, and negotiate terms for enterprise-wide deployments of Fortinet solutions.
• On-board new clients and grow existing accounts.
• Generate a robust sales pipeline, qualify opportunities, and provide accurate forecasts.
• Collaborate with internal teams to deliver bids, proposals, RFI/RFP responses, and Statements of Work reflecting excellence.
• Travel throughout the territory to support business needs.
