Job summary

Bloom Energy seeks a Sr. Maintenance Trainer to lead on-site training for a high-volume, automated manufacturing floor in Fremont, CA.

The role ensures technicians are fully trained, compliant, and capable of supporting 24/7 operations, with emphasis on Front and Back Shop maintenance. You will develop, deliver, and sustain maintenance training programs, partner with Production, Engineering, and HR to close skill gaps, and drive continuous improvement through standardized work, safety

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a high-volume manufacturing environment (maintenance, equipment engineering, or manufacturing operations).
• 3–5 years hands-on experience troubleshooting automated equipment.
• Experience delivering technical training or mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands-on and classroom training for Maintenance Technicians on manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Develop and maintain structured training programs for Front Shop and Back Shop maintenance functions.
• Create and manage training schedules, including onboarding, cross-training, and upskilling plans.
• Maintain accurate training records and certification matrices for all Maintenance Technicians.
• Perform monthly training audits to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• Partner with HR and Safety teams to coordinate required compliance training (LOTO, safety, etc.).
• Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop standardized work instructions and training materials.
