This on-site role partners with Production, Engineering, HR, and Safety to ensure technicians are fully trained, compliant, and capable of supporting fast-paced operations.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in manufacturing, deep knowledge of PLCs, digital/analog I/O, and experience delivering technical training.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in high-volume manufacturing (maintenance/engineering).
• 3–5 years troubleshooting automated equipment.
• Strong PLC systems and electrical schematics knowledge.
• Strong digital and analog I/O understanding.
• Strong preventive maintenance practices.
• Experience with automated manufacturing tools and equipment.
• Ability to read and use precision measurement instruments.
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience delivering technical training or mentoring others.

Responsibilities

• Conduct hands‑on and classroom training for Maintenance Technicians on manufacturing equipment and processes.
• Develop and maintain structured training programs for Front Shop and Back Shop maintenance functions.
• Create and manage training schedules, including onboarding, cross‑training, and upskilling plans.
• Maintain accurate training records and certification matrices for all Maintenance Technicians.
• Perform monthly training audits to ensure compliance and effectiveness.
• Partner with HR and Safety teams to coordinate required compliance training (LOTO, safety, etc.).
• Work with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop standardized work instructions and training materials.
• Shadow and certify trainers/technicians to maintain training readiness and backup support.
• Deliver on-floor coaching and lean manufacturing training sessions.
• Identify opportunities to improve training processes, tools, and equipment performance.
