Job summary

AbbVie is seeking a seasoned Senior Maintenance Technician to independently provide leadership within the maintenance department. You will train junior technicians, drive reliability, safety, and process-improvement initiatives, and work with cross-functional teams to uphold equipment performance and quality standards.

Role emphasizes adherence to safety, GMP regulations, and continuous improvement within a manufacturing setting; electrical knowledge and diagnostic tool experience are required.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with 10+ years experience or college degree, college certificate, or apprenticeship plus 5+ years in skilled trades or related technical field.
• CMRT certification or equivalent preferred.
• Intermediate MS Windows skills.
• Ability to use advanced tools (machine tools, diagnostic/predictive tools).
• Electrical skills and knowledge up to 3 phase 480V.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to AbbVie’s code of conduct.
• Maintains department assets to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards.
• Collaborates with Reliability Engineering on maintenance program development, RCA, and RCM analysis.
• May facilitate various workshops.
• Serves as SME in advanced skilled trades.
• Develops and delivers technical training modules and on-the-job training.
• Assists cross-functional teams outside the maintenance organization.
• Supports continuous improvement and safety initiatives.
• Understands and follows safety and GMP regulations.
