Job summary

AbbVie maintenance department seeks a Senior level technician to perform advanced technical tasks and train lower-level technicians. The position operates 6:00 am to 2:30 pm, Monday through Friday, in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and emphasizes reliability, safety, and GMP compliance.

You will support cross-functional teams, lead root-cause investigations, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the maintenance organization.

Qualifications

• HS diploma with 10+ yrs. experience or Relevant Certificate with 5+ yrs. experience or Associates technical degree with 3+ yrs. experience, or proficient in two or more skilled maintenance functions.
• CMRT (Certified Maintenance and Reliability Technician) or equivalent accreditation desired
• Proficient in two or more skilled maintenance functions.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to Abbvies code of conduct
• Maintains the function of department assets to ensure reliable equipment and quality standards are met.
• Assists in root cause investigation and reliability centered maintenance analysis
• Capable of training others on tasks.
• Assist cross functional teams outside of the maintenance organization
• Supports continuous improvement projects and safety initiatives within the maintenance organization and/or the site
• Understands and follows all safety and GMP regulations
