Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Technical school in mechanical discipline preferred.
- Diagnose problems and repair blowers, pumps, air locks, gear boxes, conveyors.
- Prefabrication and installation of piping, valves and pipe threading.
- Provide emergencies and call-in support as required.
Responsibilities
- Fill out and review work permits with operation personnel.
- Follow lockout–tagout procedures.
- Locate equipment problems and discuss potential causes.
- Diagnose problems and repair blowers, pumps, air locks, gearboxes, conveyors.
- Use laser alignment tools where applicable.
- Repair damages and discuss improvements.
