Job summary

dsm-firmenich in New Ulm, MN is seeking a Senior Technician, Maintenance to ensure safe, efficient operation of plant and facility equipment. This onsite role focuses on advanced troubleshooting, repairs, and preventive maintenance to support production continuity and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years in industrial maintenance required.
Technical diploma or equivalent in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or related field preferred.
Knowledge of single-phase and three-phase electrical systems and electrical safety practices.

Responsibilities

Perform scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems.
Diagnose and resolve equipment failures promptly to minimize downtime.
Execute preventive and predictive maintenance programs to optimize asset reliability.
Conduct plant rounds, inspections, and operational checks (e.g., water treatment, refrigeration systems).
Maintain accurate records of spare parts usage and maintenance activities in CMMS.
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all maintenance tasks.
