Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to support day-to-day maintenance at the plant. The role focuses on keeping equipment running, documenting activities, and contributing to continuous improvement while maintaining a safe, efficient environment for production staff.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in maintenance, a 1-year technical certificate, and experience with 480V 3-phase systems. Forklift license is a plus.

Qualifications

• 1-year certificate from college or technical school with relevant maintenance training.
• 3+ years of maintenance experience preferred.
• Experience with 480V 3-phase electrical systems preferred.
• Proficient in reading schematics and wiring diagrams.
• Ability to perform preventative maintenance and basic PLC troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform standard safety-compliant maintenance work.
• Inspect and repair plant equipment (mechanical, welding, carpentry, electrical, instrumentation and controls).
• Document accurate maintenance activity records.
• Clean and maintain assigned areas and tools.
• Participate in continuous improvement processes.
• Report incidents, near misses and non-conformances through proper channels.
• Input on maintenance supply purchases and inventory management.
• Crosstrain on other production functions as needed.
