Job summary

Tremco Construction Products Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician III to support day-to-day plant maintenance at our Columbus, GA facility. You will perform inspections and repairs on mechanical, electrical, PLC-related systems and instrumentation, while ensuring safety and documentation accuracy.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years of maintenance experience and a one-year certificate or equivalent education. Forklift certification is a plus and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum one-year certificate from college, technical school or manufacturing program.
• Alternative: HS diploma with experience; more years of experience accepted.
• Maintenance skill set includes electrical, mechanical, welding and instrumentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance safely following rules and procedures.
• Inspect and repair plant equipment to minimize downtime.
• Document maintenance activity records accurately.
• Clean and maintain work areas and tools for functionality.
• Participate in continuous improvement and meet deadlines.
• Coordinate maintenance supply purchases and preventative maintenance.
