Job summary

Brose Sitech in Kentucky is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to ensure maximum equipment availability by coordinating maintenance activities, troubleshooting complex automated production lines, and supporting maintenance technicians.

You will lead root cause analysis, program and optimize Siemens PLC-based systems, document work in CMMS/SAP PM, and promote safety and environmental standards while guiding a small team toward reliability and efficiency improvements.

Qualifications

• Associate Degree, Technical Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Automation Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment, including troubleshooting and repair of automated production equipment.
• Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting skills (Siemens preferred), with experience in commissioning and optimizing automated systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Experience with SAP PM and knowledge of ISO 14001, TS 16949, and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Coordinating maintenance activities to maximize equipment availability and support technicians in resolving issues.
• Troubleshooting and repairing electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled systems in production environments.
• Leading root cause analysis for equipment failures and implementing sustainable corrective actions.
• Programming, commissioning, maintaining, and optimizing PLC systems and automation equipment.
• Planning and executing preventive and predictive maintenance with CMMS/SAP PM documentation.
• Mentoring maintenance team and promoting knowledge sharing and best practices.
• Coordinating with production, engineering, and external service providers; overseeing contractors and installations.
