Job summary

PeopleShare by PROMAN is hiring a Maintenance Technician with a focus on electrical systems and PLCs in South Carolina. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain production equipment, reading schematics and enabling continuous improvement to minimize downtime.

Qualifications

• Experience in industrial electrical maintenance is required.
• PLC troubleshooting experience with Allen Bradley, Siemens or similar is essential.
• Experience with preventative maintenance programs.
• Ability to troubleshoot production equipment and automated systems.
• Knowledge of motors, sensors, relays, and control circuits.
• Mechanical aptitude with repair and rebuild experience.
• Manufacturing or industrial maintenance background preferred.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Diagnose and resolve PLC-related issues to minimize downtime.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
• Repair, rebuild, and overhaul machinery and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and manuals.
• Install, test, and maintain motors, drives, sensors, controls, and automation systems.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and equipment reliability.
• Respond quickly to equipment breakdowns and emergency maintenance needs.
