Job summary

Brose North America Inc is looking for an experienced industrial maintenance professional to maximize equipment availability and drive reliability on production lines. You will coordinate maintenance, troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems, and mentor a maintenance team across multiple facilities.

The role requires PLC programming, SAP PM experience, and knowledge of ISO 14001/TS 16949/OSHA standards, with a focus on safety and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or technical diploma in electrical engineering, mechatronics, industrial maintenance, automation tech, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance in manufacturing, including troubleshooting and repair of automated production equipment.
• Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting skills (Siemens preferred), with experience in commissioning and optimizing automated systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
• Experience with SAP PM and knowledge of ISO 14001, TS 16949, and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Ensure maximum equipment availability by coordinating maintenance activities and supporting technicians.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC systems for safe, reliable operations.
• Lead complex root cause analyses and implement sustainable corrective actions.
• Program, commission, maintain, and optimize PLC systems and automation equipment.
• Plan and execute preventive and predictive maintenance with CMMS/SAP PM documentation.
• Serve as technical expert and mentor for the maintenance team with hands-on support.
