Brose in Michigan seeks an experienced Maintenance Engineer to maximize equipment availability across production lines, lead troubleshooting of PLC-controlled systems, and mentor a skilled maintenance team.
You will plan preventive maintenance, document activities in CMMS/SAP PM, coordinate with production, engineering, and contractors, and drive continuous improvement in reliability, efficiency, and safety within a high-tech manufacturing environment.

Associate Degree, Technical Diploma, or equivalent qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, Automation Technology, or a related field 5+ years of experience in industrial maintenance within a manufacturing environment, including troubleshooting and repair of automated production equipment Strong PLC programming and troubleshooting skills (Siemens preferred), with experience in commissioning and optimizing automated systems Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills Experience with SAP PM and knowledge of ISO 14001, TS 16949, and OSHA requirements
