Norshield, an ASSA ABLOY branded company, located in Montgomery, Alabama, is seeking a seasoned Maintenance Technician. The role focuses on diagnosing and repairing complex mechanical and electrical equipment to minimize downtime.

You will perform preventive maintenance, support CNC machines, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives in a fast-paced plant. The ideal candidate has extensive experience with PLCs, robotics, welding, hydraulics, and 3-phase electrical systems, plus strong

Qualifications

• 7+ years as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience with PLC and robotic systems.
• Proficient with 480V 3-phase electrical systems.
• Welding experience: MIG/TIG/Arc.
• Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and repair equipment across the facility under supervision.
• Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues and perform preventive maintenance.
• Support CNC machine maintenance (mills, lathes, routers).
• Set up welding programs and fabricate as needed and ensure safety compliance.
