Job summary

AvalonBay Communities is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Vivmark Residential in Wilmington, MA. You will diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues to keep the community safe and comfortable, while responding to service requests promptly.

You’ll work on preventative maintenance, support turnover readiness, and maintain a safety-first culture. A valid driver's license and 2–3 years of maintenance experience are required, with on-call rotation participation expected.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of maintenance experience with HVAC, plumbing and electrical knowledge.
• Ability to read and follow policies, SDS, and safety guidelines.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to participate in on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs HVAC, electrical, plumbing, major appliances and related systems.
• Completes service requests and repairs promptly to keep units rent-ready when needed.
• Performs preventative maintenance and assists in interior/exterior painting and safety procedures.
