Job summary

Builders FirstSource in the United States seeks a Maintenance Technician III to perform machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance with high efficiency, under supervision of Maintenance Manager and Leads.

Responsibilities include preventive maintenance on engines, motors, conveyors; locating faults; replacing parts; documenting trends; maintaining safety and inventory; and supporting team with quality workmanship.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; Associate's degree preferred.
• 5 years of related maintenance experience.
• Valid driver's license.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance on engines, motors, conveyors, and production machines.
• Troubleshoot malfunctions and repair mechanical and electrical devices.
• Identify sources of problems using measurement tools and diagnostics.
• Maintain equipment inventories and request parts as needed.
• Ensure a safe, clean work environment and comply with procedures.
