Job summary

Builders FirstSource, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician II to perform machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance under supervision.

You will service engines, motors, conveyors and production equipment while following manuals and specifications. The role requires 2–5 years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience, plus a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Vocational certificate in maintenance technology preferred.
• 2–5 years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Valid driver’s license required.

Responsibilities

• Perform machine setup, troubleshooting, repairs and preventive maintenance.
• Observe mechanical and electrical devices; identify and troubleshoot malfunctions.
• Inspect parts with calipers, micrometers and measuring tools to verify tolerances.
• Maintain inventories and document maintenance actions and trends.
• Comply with safety procedures and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
