Job summary

Abbott in Plymouth, MN is seeking a Sr. Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on production equipment in the Structural Heart division. You will maintain records, manage a CMMS database, and ensure tools and tooling are ready for manufacturing.

The role requires hands-on problem solving and collaboration across shifts and teams. Ideal candidates have a technical diploma in electrical/mechanical technology and at least five years in an industrial setting,

Qualifications

• Electrical/Mechanical tech with 5+ years in industrial settings.
• Experience diagnosing PLC problems and processing CMMS work orders.
• Knowledge of injection molding and related tooling maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and perform preventative maintenance on production equipment.
• Inspect, repair, and maintain injection molding tooling.
• Install custom accessories to prepare equipment for production.
• Maintain CMMS records and generate equipment reports.
• Troubleshoot and repair production equipment and coordinate external services as needed.
• Respond to production down issues and communicate status to stakeholders.
