Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to support industrial manufacturing operations in Westminster, MA. The role requires troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, and repair of complex equipment to maximize uptime.

Responsibilities include inspecting Machinery, diagnosing faults, and following blueprints to install or repair components. A strong attention to safety and documentation is essential for this on-site permanent position.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Technician in manufacturing.
• Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical principles.
• Experience with injection molding and extrusion equipment.
• Ability to read engineering blueprints, schematics, and diagrams.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify malfunctions.
• Implement preventive maintenance to keep equipment in optimal condition.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults on manufacturing equipment.
• Repair or replace broken components and parts as needed.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and diagrams for tasks.
• Maintain a clean, safe work environment and comply with procedures.
• Document maintenance work with dates, tasks, and parts used.
