Job summary

PLA is seeking a Maintenance Technician in Balch Springs, TX. You will perform preventive maintenance, repairs, installations, and upgrades to ensure equipment safety and uptime.

The role reports to the Plant Manager and requires strong troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Eligible candidates will have 4+ years of industrial maintenance, welding/electrical certifications, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of maintenance experience in industrial settings.
• Welding and electrical certifications required.
• Valid driver's license.
• Associate degree or trade certification preferred.
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility and equipment.
• Install, upgrade and troubleshoot complex systems and equipment.
• Maintain safety and regulatory compliance documentation.
• Manage spare parts inventory and support maintenance staff.
