Job summary

PLA is seeking a Maintenance Technician III for its Commerce City facility to lead facility and equipment maintenance, repair, installation, and system upgrades. You will perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, and work with minimal supervision to maximize uptime and safety.

The role requires 4+ years in industrial maintenance, welding and electrical certifications, a valid license, and an associate degree or trade cert.

Qualifications

4+ years of maintenance experience in an industrial, warehouse, or manufacturing environment.
Welding and electrical certifications or licenses required.
Valid driver’s license.
Associate degree in a technical field or trade school certification preferred.
Strong mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting skills.
Ability to work independently, prioritize workload, and handle complex repairs.
High attention to detail and commitment to safety.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on facility and production equipment (SMETCO machinery, Palmatic equipment, forklifts, compressors, pneumatic and vacuum systems, hydraulics, electrical systems, HVAC, lighting).
Install, troubleshoot, and remove equipment as needed.
Maintain logs for machinery, equipment, forklifts, and inspections; ensure forklift drivers are certified.
